Everglade Spinach

This is an heirloom variety which is a relative of chard.  The leaves are shiny green with white midribs, the  stalks taste something like mild asparagus. In parts of Ireland, where it is known as ‘wild spinach’ and is very popular among Mediterranean cooks .It is extremely heat tolerant in Singapore weather, so with just one sowing you can feast on these succulent dark green leaves. 50 Days to maturity
